Gary Carter, the founder of Eagle Training Services, comes from a diverse background. He first commenced his work journey as a tradesman plumber. He has also had a lengthy career within the security industry specialising in crowd control, retail, hospital security, self defence, dangerous weapons and close personal protection (bodyguard). Gary is also a qualified paramedic where he worked on road fulltime for several years with St John Ambulance. He has great experience with team leadership, project management and customer service due to his previous work experience prior to setting up the business.

Toni-Maree (TM) Carter
Quality Manager
Toni-Maree (TM), Gary's wife, joined the business in 2007 and brought complimentary skills and training background into the business. TM was an Intensive Care Paramedic for approximately 20 years working throughout the Northern Territory. The highlight of her paramedical career was working as an Offshore Paramedical for fly in - fly out arrangement with a Norwegian Seismic survey company for 7 years. TM worked throughout the Asia-Pacific Rim but predominantly in the waters of the eastern Russian island, Sakhalin.
TM's skills include:
Occupational first aider & first aid trainer, an active member of an emergency control organisation, urban & remote area paramedicine, onsite risk analysis and management, advanced paediatric life support paramedicine, massage and myopractic therapist, sports trainer, counselling skills, communicating with public, dealing with conflict, dealing with intoxicated persons, alcohol and other drug awareness and testing, public speaking, workplace training, assessing and mentoring.
TM's training includes:

Jason Sing
Training Manager

Jason joined Eagle Training in February 2010. Jason originally started his working career in Commercial Cookery where he worked as a Chef at a variety of locations including Hamilton Island and numerous other 5-star restaurants. In 2001 Jason embarked on a career change and moved into the security industry where he has worked in a supervisory role for some of Alice Springs largest security firms and later moving into a partnership as a Director for a successful local security firm. Jason now works at Eagle Training full time as a trainer for the security courses as well as the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Jason’s skills include:
Monitoring and patrolling businesses, armed escorts, crowd control of pubs and clubs, cash carry, security K-9 patrols, static guards and foot patrols, management, staff leadership, conflict negotiation, workplace training, assessing and mentoring.
Jason’s training includes:
Trade Certificate – Commercial Cookery, Certificate II in Security Operations, Apply First Aid, Certificate IV in Operational Safety (Firearms), Defensive Tactics Instructor, Certificate IV Training and Assessment.

Sarah Shepherdson
Trainer and Assessor

Sarah joined Eagle Training in July 2010. She has a background in working with people with disabilities, then went into specific areas of working with youth, assisting job seekers, and working as a volunteer with Northern Territory Emergency Services. Sarah adds her cheerful and colourful personality to the diverse team of Eagle Training which always keeps life interesting. Sarah has a natural ability to communicate with a diverse range of people in a variety of situations, and her energetic nature is always enjoyed by the rest of the team. Sarah holds family values very high and enjoys spending time being a mum.
Sarah’s Skills include:
Counselling, dealing with conflict, development of tailored youth programs, youth mentoring, conducting search and rescue operations, road crash rescue, workplace training, assessing and mentoring.
Sarah’s training includes:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Employment Services, Certificate IV in Youth Services, Certificate II and III in Public Safety (SES Rescue), Chainsaw Operation, Search and Rescue.

Kath Clark
Administration Coordinator

Kath joined Eagle Training Services in September 2010 and brings with her a friendly and professional personality which translates into exceptional customer service skills. Kath serves as the gatekeeper for Eagle Training Services whose exceptional organisational skills help maintain a smooth and holistic transition between all the varied departments and staff. Kath comes from an administration and customer service background and has in the past worked in aged care and with people with disabilities. Kath has a love for animals and enjoys socialising with people.
Kath's skills include:

Anna joined the team at Eagle Training Services in March 2011 to run the Sales & Service department for First Aid and Safety Equipment. Anna embraces challenges with a positive attitude, which shines through in her energetic and bubbly personality. Anna enjoys running the First Aid Restocking Service so you will be sure to see her cruising across town in her supply van!
Anna’s skills include:
Anna has an extensive history of Customer Service. Her communication skills are well versed and combine this with excellent time management, advanced IT literacy and database management skills she is a great fit for the position. Anna is naturally gifted in sourcing quality products at the best price available and looking after her customers with a high level of personal attention.
Anna’s training includes:
Anna brings with her numerous years of experience within the sales industry across various fields. Her earlier background within the hospitality industry makes her appreciate the value of great customer service which should be delivered with a smile! Anna holds a current 'White Card' and has been trained in 'Safe Working at Heights' which includes the visual inspection of height safety equipment.
