Certificate III in Security Operations
This is a nationally accredited course which is best suited to those who already have their security licence. This qualification will increase the knowledge and skills of Security Officers already working within the security industry by further developing operational or supervisory skills. All Eagle Training Services instructors have current industry experience within the security environment.

Course Outline
This is a nationally accredited course which is best suited to those who already have their security licence. This qualification will increase the knowledge and skills of Security Officers already working within the security industry by further developing operational or supervisory skills. Successful completion of this qualification may lead to employment in supervising and managing a small team.
Our training programs, using advanced techniques combined with relevant practical experience, teach our students to recognise potential threats, complex conditions and equip them to manage or supervise a team responding to a security risk situation.
Students will receive face-to-face trainer led theory classes and practical sessions involving small groups and individual activities. Eagle Training Services aims to train highly motivated and professional security officers to a standard which far exceeds requirements. All Eagle Training Services instructors have current industry experience within the security environment.

Prerequisites
Must hold a Certificate II in Security Operations and be currently working within the security industry. It is a requirement for this course that students must have good verbal and written English skills. Students will be assessed for language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) ability. Any student identified as requiring assistance will be given help by their trainer to successfully undertake the course. Where the students LLN needs are beyond the capability of the trainer, a referral will be made to appropriate support services.
Assessment
Assessments are contextualised and linked to the completion of various activities. Assessments consist of practical demonstrations, written questions and project work depending upon the unit requirements.
Assessment takes place throughout the course and is conducted off the job.

Course Delivery & Duration
This course is conducted over 6 weeks and has 10 days of face-to-face classroom delivery which is conducted over 2 x 5 day blocks. Attendance of all 10 days is mandatory. Homework is given each night the student attends class and there is a major assignment project to be completed between the two training blocks.
Training days are from 8.30 to 4.00 each day. All students are required to be present 15 minutes before course commencement time. Late arrivals may be refused from the course as a failure to attend.
Welfare and Support Services
Eagle Training Services NT provides welfare and support services within its professional capacity. Clients should identify existing needs prior to enrolment so that appropriate arrangements are made. Where additional support is required, the client will be referred to a specialist agency to access appropriate support. Eagle Training Services NT has a documented policy regarding access and equity.
Course Fees
$950 per student. A $300 deposit is required upon enrolment to secure a course placement. The remaining course fee is to be paid in full prior to course commencement. Course fee is fully refundable only if the course is cancelled. This price includes all study manuals and materials.
Confirmation of Enrolment
A student’s position on the course will be confirmed upon payment of a course deposit fee or the provision of an authorised purchase order. Positions are limited so confirmed enrolments only will be able to attend.
For cancellations/refunds, a minimum of 3 business days must be provided to Eagle Training Services NT prior to the commencement of the scheduled course to enable re-allocation of your place to another participant, otherwise the full course fee will be payable. Replacements are allowed provided they have Eagle Training Services NT approval before the start of training, payment received in full and course prerequisites are met.
