Course Outline
Confined Space Entry training courses are designed to teach participants how to identify and work safely in a confined space. This training course is designed for people who work in or around confined spaces. Participants will learn to complete risk assessments and work permits for confined space operations. They will also learn to operate and identify a large range of safety equipment.
This course can be tailored to suit your company’s specific training requirements. Breathing Apparatus training can also be completed in conjunction with this training course. This course has a large focus on safety procedures and practical scenarios relevant to your company’s confined space operations. An annual Confined Space refresher training course is also offered.

Course Prerequisites
A current Confined Space Entry Statement of Attainment is a prerequisite for this course and must be sighted prior to enrolment. Current industry standard is for this course to be updated every 2 years with the BA component being refreshed annually.
Units of Competency
Participants who successfully complete all components of the course will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the following units of competency:
MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
MSMPER205 Enter confined space
MSMPER300 Issue work permits
MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis
Course Assessment
Written & practical assessment. Practical exercises will be tailored to your specific workplace if training is delivered onsite.
Course Delivery
Training occurs at Eagle Training Services training facilities located in Alice Springs. Participants undertake the course in comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms with the latest IT and audiovisual capabilities. Students are supported through the provision of high quality learning materials and resources.
Metro and remote onsite delivery is also available if you have a suitable venue.
Confirmation of Enrolment
Payment in full or provision of a purchase order is required to secure a course.
For cancellations/refunds a minimum of 3 business days notice must be provided to Eagle Training Services prior to the commencement of the scheduled course to enable re-allocation of your place to another participant, otherwise the full course fee will be payable. Replacements are allowed provided they have Eagle Training Services approval before the start of training and course prerequisites are met.

Eagle Training Services provides welfare and support services within its professional capacity. Clients should identify existing needs prior to enrolment so that appropriate arrangements are made. Where additional support is required, the client will be referred to a specialist agency to access appropriate support. Eagle Training Services has a documented policy regarding access and equity.
