Our Safe Working at Height training course is designed for persons who are required to work at heights or in the vicinity of drops in excess of 2 metres. Course Outline
Our Safe Working at Height training course is designed for persons who are required to work at heights or in the vicinity of drops in excess of 2 metres. Participants will develop skills to select height safety equipment and apply it to specific tasks whilst working in accordance with Height Safety Regulations, Australian Standards and relevant codes of practice.
Participants will have an understanding of risk assessment procedures and permits to work at height. They will also undergo practical instruction in the correct use of height safety equipment. This course can be tailored to suit your company’s specific requirements.

Practical scenarios will be completed which will be based upon the individual needs of your workplace, e.g. restraint systems, fall-arrest systems, roof systems etc.
Course Prerequisites
There are no restrictions on entry to this course however students are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction(s).
Unit of Competency
Participants who successfully complete all components of the course will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights unit of competency.
Course Assessment
Written & practical assessment.
Course Delivery & Duration
Classes run over a single day. Training starts at 8:30am and finishes at 4:30pm. All students are required to be present 15 minutes before course commencement time. Late arrivals may be refused from the course as a failure to attend. Training occurs at Eagle Training Services training facilities located in Darwin & Alice Springs. Participants undertake the course in comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms with the latest IT and audiovisual capabilities. Students are supported through the provision of high quality learning materials and resources.
Course Fees
$290 per student. Payment in full, or provision of a purchase order is required to secure a place on a course. Course fee is fully refundable only if the course is cancelled. This price includes all study manuals and materials
Confirmation of Enrolment
Payment in full, or provision of a purchase order is required to secure a place on a course. Positions are limited so confirmed enrolments only will be able to attend.
For cancellations/refunds a minimum of 3 business days notice must be provided to Eagle Training Services prior to the commencement of the scheduled course to enable re-allocation of your place to another participant, otherwise the full course fee will be payable. Replacements are allowed provided they have Eagle Training Services approval before the start of training and course prerequisites are met.

Eagle Training Services provides welfare and support services within its professional capacity. Clients should identify existing needs prior to enrolment so that appropriate arrangements are made. Where additional support is required, the client will be referred to a specialist agency to access appropriate support. Eagle Training Services has a documented policy regarding access and equity.
